From there, the journey continues to Masjid Qiblatain, the mosque closely associated with the historic change in the direction of prayer from Jerusalem to Makkah. A short drive away are the Seven Mosques, a group of historic sites linked to the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwat al-Khandaq), where companions such as Salman al-Farsi and Ali ibn Abi Talib played key roles in defending the city.

The tour then continues to Mount Uhud, around five kilometres north of central Madinah. This is the site of the Battle of Uhud and the resting place of many of its martyrs, including Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA). It's often one of the quieter and more reflective stops on the tour, and many families appreciate having a little extra time here before continuing.

One stop that many visitors don't know about is Masjid al-Ghamama, often called the Mosque of the Cloud. It's traditionally associated with the place where the Prophet ﷺ prayed for rain. While it's a relatively small mosque compared to some of Madinah's better-known landmarks, it's one of those places that many pilgrims end up appreciating because it offers a quieter glimpse into the city's rich Islamic history.

If time allows, we can also stop at a local date farm near the Salman al-Farsi area before returning to your hotel. It's a relaxed way to pick up fresh Madinah dates and local products without having to fit another trip into your schedule.
