Overview

About Our Madinah Ziyarat Taxi Service

Madinah is full of places that carry deep significance in Islamic history, yet it's surprisingly easy to spend your entire stay moving between Masjid an-Nabawi and your hotel without seeing much beyond them. Our Madinah Ziyarat taxi is built for pilgrims who want more than that — a private tour of Madinah's most important Islamic landmarks, at a pace that suits your family rather than a timetable set by a crowded group bus.

Most tours begin at Masjid Quba, the first mosque built in Islam, established by the Prophet ﷺ shortly after his arrival in Madinah. Many pilgrims like to spend a little extra time here to pray two Nafl rak'ahs because of the well-known virtue associated with the mosque. For that reason, we usually allow around 30 to 45 minutes, so there's no need to rush back to the car.

From there, the journey continues to Masjid Qiblatain, the mosque closely associated with the historic change in the direction of prayer from Jerusalem to Makkah. It's one of the most important landmarks in Madinah and gives many pilgrims a deeper appreciation of this pivotal moment in Islamic history. A short drive away are the Seven Mosques, a group of historic sites linked to the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwat al-Khandaq), where companions such as Salman al-Farsi and Ali ibn Abi Talib played key roles in defending the city.

The tour then continues to Mount Uhud, around five kilometres north of central Madinah. This is the site of the Battle of Uhud and the resting place of many of its martyrs, including Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA). It's often one of the quieter and more reflective stops on the tour, and many families appreciate having a little extra time here before continuing.

One stop that many visitors don't know about is Masjid al-Ghamama, often called the Mosque of the Cloud. It's traditionally associated with the place where the Prophet ﷺ prayed for rain. While it's a relatively small mosque compared to some of Madinah's better-known landmarks, it's one of those places that many pilgrims end up appreciating because it offers a quieter glimpse into the city's rich Islamic history.

If time allows, we can also stop at a local date farm near the Salman al-Farsi area before returning to your hotel. It's a relaxed way to pick up fresh Madinah dates and local products without having to fit another trip into your schedule.

If Makkah is also part of your journey, our Makkah Ziyarat taxi offers a similar private experience, covering important landmarks such as Jabal al-Nour, Jabal Thawr, Mount Arafat, Mina, and other historic sites around the city.

For most families, the most comfortable time for a Madinah Ziyarat taxi is either early morning after Ishraq (around 7:00–8:00 AM) or late afternoon after Asr, when the weather is generally cooler and several of the sites are less crowded. That said, the tour can be arranged at whatever time best suits your family's plans.

The fare for your Madinah Ziyarat taxi is charged per vehicle rather than per person, making it excellent value for couples, families, and small groups. Whether there are two people travelling or six in the same vehicle, the price stays the same. There are no hidden charges, no advance deposit, and nothing to pay upfront. Simply confirm your booking on WhatsApp and pay your driver in cash or by bank transfer once your tour has been completed.

When you're ready to continue your pilgrimage, our Madinah to Makkah taxi provides a comfortable private transfer with the required stop at Masjid Dhul Hulayfah (Abyar Ali) so you can enter Ihram before travelling onwards to Makkah. Until then, simply choose the vehicle below that best matches your group size and luggage requirements, and we'll take care of the rest.
